Suman Sharma, a member of the 1990 batch, took oath as a member of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

- Suman Sharma has served as an officer of the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) for more than 30 years.
- Suman Sharma has been associated with matters such as International Taxation, Transfer Pricing, Export Promotion Schemes and Power Trading Agreements.
About UPSC
- It is the central recruitment agency in India for Group 'A' officer posts under the Government of India.
- It is established as a constitutional body under Article 315 of the Indian Constitution.
