18th RIC Foreign Minister meeting

The foreign ministers of Russia, India and China held a virtual meeting on 26 November 2021.

India was the chairman of the RIC. After this meeting the Chairmanship of the RIC has been passed to China till 2022.

RIC 

• Russia India China  group  concept was given by the former Russian Prime Minister Yevgeny Primakov in the 1990s as a counterbalance to the western dominance led by the US. 
• Together, the RIC countries occupy over 19 percent of the global landmass and contribute to over 33 percent of global GDP. 
• All three are nuclear power countries.
