• AIDS: Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome.  AIDS is the most advanced stage of HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) infection that occurs when the infected person’s immune system is badly damaged because of the Virus.
• Countries with the highest number of cases: 1. South Africa, 2. Nigeria and 3. India.
